  • An intriguing blend of old and modern.

Nestled among fields and surrounded by old olive trees, this designer resort welcomes its guests with rustic elegance. The derelict 17th century farmhouse has been lovingly restored by its current owner into an idyllic, luxury retreat. Environmental considerations have been taken into account with solar energy and water-saving devices. Behind the dazzling-white walls of this Italian masseria are 10 apartments of varying sizes. Separate entrances ensure sufficient privacy for their occupants while their interior delights with unusual room layouts and cosy nooks and crannies. Each one of these spacious apartments is unique and none looks like any of the others. They all have open-plan kitchens and some have patios opening on to the garden. The furnishings add yet another unique touch: the furniture is designed by famous designers, with names ranging from Ron Arad to Charles and Ray Eames to Philippe Starck. Philippe Starck is also the name behind the generously sized bathrooms. These are individually equipped with Starck 1, Vero or Foster. Relaxation is guaranteed in extra-deep Sundeck bathtubs or with the Blue Moon pool feeling. The suite offers superior luxury with a two-seater bathtub on the patio, overlooking the tranquil olive groves.
