Call for Entries!! Duravit USA is looking for your hottest bathroom designs, built or still conceptual! For the third annual North American design competition, the Duravit Designer Dream Bath Competition has added a category for completed projects, and as in past years, invites designers to dream up their own new bathroom in the Designer’s Own Bath (unbuilt project) category.

Using their personal bathroom as inspiration, the Designer’s Own Bath category invites architects and designers to draw up their ideal bath space from a range of Duravit’s 2015 launches: Cape Cod, ME, and L-Cube collections with a chance to win the products from their design and professional photography of the completed work.

The deadline for submission is September 25, 2015. Read on for further detail!

Categories

One winner will be selected and awarded the Duravit items used in his or her project up to a value of $15,000. Up to three other submissions will receive honorable mentions.

Built project: Projects completed on or after January 1, 2014 may be submitted for consideration in this category and are eligible to receive up to $5,000 in product value.

Designer’s Own Bath (unbuilt project): This category is for the designers’ own bathroom redesign and one winner will be awarded the Duravit items used in his or her project up to a value of $10,000 and professional photography of the completed project.

Projects selected as winners and honorable mentions in both categories will be promoted to a broad range of design and lifestyle media, and will be announced during Duravit Design Week in early October.

Rules

Built project: Submissions in the “built project” category must include Duravit. By way of their submission, the designer agrees to complete the project by January 1, 2016, should their design be selected to win.

Designer’s Own Bath (unbuilt project): The competition is open to all North American-based architects and designers. Participants in the “Designer’s Own Bath (unbuilt project)” category may only use the following collections in their designs: Cape Cod, ME, and L-Cube. Duravit is not responsible for installation of prize materials.

Criteria

A panel of design experts will judge the submissions based on creativity, use of the Duravit product to overcome design challenges, and overall success of the reimagined space.

Deadline

Submissions must be completed no later than Friday, September 25, 2015. Winners will be announced at Duravit’s New York City showroom during Duravit Design Week October 5-7, 2015.
